Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri is an Indian actress, who gained popularity for her part in the films Hum Aapke Haiin Koun and Beta Saajan. Her career began in the late 1980s, and rose to popularity with her role in Tezaab, a film where she played with an established actor Anil Kapoor. In the following film, she starred in the film Dil in which she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. Her birthplace was in the Mumbai middle class family and began dancing at a young age. As a teenager actress, she began performing but suffered through a number of years due to the fact that her early films failed. The actress gained fame and was one of India's leading film actors. After her marriage the actress took time to rest from her acting career prior to returning. In recent times, she was an important player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit has been recognized in 15 Filmfare Awards. Of these the awards she's won 8. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian distinction in India. Her work in the field of social service is known to the world.
