She developed multiple organ failures and kidneys that did not recover. The new standard was hemodialyses and peritoneal-dialysis. After an 80-day hospital stay, Angelica was almost dead but was on the road to healing. Angelica underwent dialysis treatment for over a decade half years before receiving her kidney transplant. Her mother was the sole one who could donate a kidney. Angelica together with her mom, underwent an organ transplant successfully on September 13th 2013 in two amazing hospitals that were close to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale's dream to be the world's most famous person has never wavered.
