Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator from Cuba and America for Caso Cerrado, is the host of Ana Polo Rules. Born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was just 2 years old, accompanied by family members. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. Presently, she is the host of the Telemundo Show "Caso Cerrado", which is a Spanish programming on television that has been nominated by the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015 she also ranked the top Spanish-language show at 4pm for key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. After graduating the Florida International University's Political science program, she relocated to Havana where she stayed for the next 20 years. After obtaining her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. Following her PhD from University of Miami in law and practicing law at the bar in Miami city for over 20 years. Polo first appeared on television in 2001 on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. She was also a part of court shows that tapped into her knowledge. Literature Awards She wrote Los Hijos Muertos in 1958. The novel received the Critic's Award, as well as it was also awarded the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute arrived in the United States of America from Spain, 1960. Polo was a breast cancer survivor who often raises funds for this cause and speaks at events. She has advocated for LGBT rights throughout her career. She has a law degree of the University of Miami School of Law as well as an Florida Bar Member.
